R&D Line – Phoenix Facility (Battery Lab 1.0)

The R&D Line is designed for projects that require smaller quantities of materials, customized builds, or very low-humidity fabrication conditions. It is especially well-suited for early-stage research, novel designs, and solid-state battery development.

Housed in a dedicated -40 °C dew point dry room, the R&D Line contains all the equipment needed to mix, coat, calender, and assemble small-format pouch cells (58 × 45 mm). 2032 coin cells can also be fabricated – either in an argon glovebox or inside the dry room with advanced notice.

Like the Pilot Lines, the R&D Line operates as a single-user unit, ensuring privacy and IP protection.
