U-M Battery Lab/U-M users

Users paying with a University of Michigan shortcode are considered U-M users.

Becoming a U-M User

  1. Contact Greg Less to discuss your project needs, next steps and get estimated pricing. (Pricing for U-M projects is fundamentally different from pricing for external users.)
  2. Provide a valid U-M shortcode.
  3. Show proof of having taken the MyLINC safety training course BLS025w: Chemical Laboratory Safety Training.
  4. After instrument training in the Battery Lab, U-M users with department-assigned space in the Michigan Memorial Phoenix Project Building can request MCard access by submitting their card number to Greg Less.
  5. U-M users without an assignment in the building may access the Battery Lab during normal working hours by appointment.
